Flexible Application Guidance

University applications have a lot of moving parts.

Our flexible guidance meets your child exactly where they are.

If you are one of our Fee Status Support families,  you already know how much is riding on getting the university journey right. The application itself involves many moving parts: subject choices, university shortlists, personal statements, final decisions. It is not always clear which one needs attention first.

We have always offered comprehensive university guidance packages, but we know that some families prefer a more targeted kind of support; help with one specific stage rather than the whole journey. So, we are introducing something new, exclusively for our Fee Status Support families: flexible, modular university guidance that lets you access exactly the support your child needs, when they need it.

And if you came to us for undergraduate support, coming back for postgraduate guidance is straightforward. We can pick up where we left off and support your child with their graduate education and career aspirations.

We are proud of the outcomes we help our students achieve. But we think our clients say it best. Here are some of the things they have shared with us.

Joe was an immense help to my daughter. In the process of trying to cut her personal statement down to meet the word count it had lost a sense of flow and personality. Joe’s suggestions for how to restructure it were brilliant. He advised her on what she should include, remove and even elaborate on. I only wish I had enlisted the help of UK Study Options sooner.

Working in the USA while raising a child in the American school system, we always knew we wanted my son to pursue higher education in the UK. Navigating that journey from overseas, however, can be complex—especially when it comes to understanding university admissions, fees, and home fees eligibility criteria. That’s where Kate and her team came in, and I can honestly say they made all the difference. Kate’s deep knowledge of UK university admissions, built over years of experience working in the field, was instrumental in guiding us through every step of the process.

Their University Admissions Service, helped us strategically plan where to apply, understand each university’s requirements, and navigate any required admissions tests. Stephen made sure we stayed on track, were well-prepared, and submitted strong applications tailored to each university’s strengths and expectations. The result? We received offers from several top-tier Russell Group universities—a dream outcome for any parent in our position. In short, if you’re a British family living abroad and want your child to study in the UK, I cannot recommend this service highly enough. Their expertise, professionalism, and genuine care for getting the best outcome for our son was second to none. It truly was one of the best investments we made in terms of university applications. 100% recommend.

Humayun Rashid, Parent USA

My parents contacted Kate and Geraldine (UKSO) in August 2022 to help me with the process of applying to uk universities. Kate particularly helped me with combining the process of applying to university with managing chaotic deadlines from IB. I am particularly thankful for the amount of feedback and constructive criticism Kate provided me with for my personal statement as it allowed me to create a statement I was genuinely proud of. I filed my UCAS application in November and have so far received offers from 4 out of 5 universities including St Andrews and UCL which were my top choices. Thanks a million Kate and Geraldine!

Incredibly happy with Joe Marshall who helped our daughter keep her style and language whilst ending up with a punchy and powerful personal statement that really makes her shine.

Zeev Fisher, Parent, Portugal

Thank you so much to Kate and the team at UK Study Options for their knowledge, assistance and support that guided us through the progress of applying for UK university entry and ultimately provided a successful result.

Shona Drummond, Parent, UAE

UK Study Options was extremely helpful in ensuring I received home fees for my university applications, as well as in helping me decide what I wanted to do at university. Very knowledgeable and would highly recommend.

George Ross, Student, Portugal

Steve supported my son with his personal statement, and the result was both bespoke and beautifully concise. A reflection of years of growth and development. His approach goes far beyond editing; it blends mentorship that shapes thinking, challenges decisions regarding universities, and builds confidence. It’s an investment that should be a must! Geraldine, who supported my eldest son, was instrumental to choices he never knew existed. Her more challenging, thought-provoking approach pushed him to refine his thinking and make stronger decisions, which has supported the path he continues on today. So much so that we sought her advice again when applying for his master’s. This is so much more than supportive guidance. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Abeeda, Parent, India

UK Study Options is a great organization, specifically helpful with university applications and writing the personal statement. I worked with Joe Marshall and with his help I was able to narrow down my interests and perfect my statement.

Lauren Hewison, Parent, USA

I worked with Kate through the Graduate Package, and her support was exceptional from start to finish. She was professional, patient, and encouraging. Her feedback on my personal statements and proposals was thorough and insightful, helping me refine every detail and present my best self. Thanks to her expert guidance, I received offers from several top universities, including Imperial College London and UCL, and I am now studying at Imperial. The process felt so much smoother and less stressful knowing I had someone experienced to guide me through each step. I’m truly grateful for all the support and would highly recommend her services to anyone applying for postgraduate study.
